About the Yard Waste & Recycling Center

Suburban’s Yard Waste Recycling Center is a dedicated facility in Kansas City that responsibly processes organic yard and landscape materials into usable compost and mulch. Since 1989, Suburban has helped keep millions of tons of yard waste out of landfills by transforming plant-based debris into valuable resources that support healthier gardens and landscapes.

In addition, the facility is regulated by the USDA, EPA, and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources and operates with a strong commitment to environmental responsibility, safety, and quality. As a result, both residential homeowners and commercial landscapers benefit from a convenient, well-managed drop-off experience that supports sustainable practices across the Kansas City region.
